Its hard to say exactly what the intention of the protags characterisation is but I think it would create help a lot with how many visual descriptors there are, and would really help buy into Kai's almost love at first sight for you
Absolutely amazing, the conflict, drama, plot twist, everything is masterfully done, hours reading non stop, gasping as another impactful thing happened. All characters made me feel a wide variety of emotions, a testament on how well they're written. I can't wait to read all the next chapters. Kudos!
ill say this "you got lucky" i was about to drop this vn after the cold opening and somewhat terrible corny writing in the beggining but after me and my friend pass that opening this story hooked us like a fishing rod,
There's no words to describe how much I and my friend felt in love with the political drama and universe you have set here, and i await with obsolute intrigue for the next updates,
that said i few nitpicks of the story, for starters the eyes nearly made me laugh and could have done better to make the reader feel dread when they saw it, maybe making the eyes blank as to give away that since that what ever you are speaking with is beyond the living and a few "horror" parts that could have been done with a bit more kick with the imagery like seeing your friends with black eyes to signified that they are either dead or possesed giving the horror of watching your friends being lost to the darkness,

Great story and plot! Really love Kai's design here, and all the sprites in general. Is the transport craft from the beginning a render of Space Perspective's, Spaceship Neptune? More specifically its interior? Great reference if so 😁
I gotta say, the relationship between MC (main character) and Kai is extremely cute, and their first intimate scene really caught me by surprise🥰. Really looking forward to more of these "situations"😏. But I am also curious about Vulterus (which by the way you guys really hit the spot on his design, so attractive 🥰🥰) and his interactions with MC. If these two are also going to interact in a more intimate level, I am looking forward to see it happen. Also hot headed characters like him are my favorite type of date😏

I did not think Kezza would be smaller than Eco since Kezza is based off a bear species. Eco said he was a foot shorter than him. This is a different universe and reality though. I am cautious about Kezza. Hope he does not betray Eco and get him a Kai in even more trouble.
I prevent myself from reading this from the build 1 not because i don't like this but because i know i will be super into it and cannot wait for the next build. after build 3 i cannot help anymore and went to read it And i was right, it's such a good vn with so many unpredictable lore that make us so invested.
Just hoping regarding the role of their relationship is not like typical vn where the big one like kai and vulp always on top/lead (but the inner thought by the mc after talking to kai on their room also hinting switch at least which i like).
Also i hope the reconnected team keep being healthy and happy, also keep delivering greatness like you do now.
I really like this VN myself. I just think a "choose your path" or who to mainly befriend in the beginning between the main three people you interact with would have been pretty neat. I think Kai is pretty cool, just different routes that change the story and how the characters see you from the start, would be interesting, imo. Either way, I really look forward to where this story goes.

Ok I just finished it and… OMG I LOVE IT. Even more than before!
Story wise 9/10 only because, it personally took me a while to understand the plot but otherwise splendid
Storytelling 8.5/10 there are still some things to fix especially in day 3 or four since it needs a little update and also some grammatical mistakes here and there
Design 7/10 I’m so sorry to say this but the character needs to be a bit retouched and don’t misunderstand I LOVE canines and the color pallet is gorgeous but take for example Kai and Vulterus, although being Vulterus the newest addition, Kai has still some lining that needs to be taken since they are a bit blurry. Also Kezza still needs a whole design but if you do half as good as you did with Vulterus then it will be a masterpiece (also Kai’s dick still doesn’t glow)
CGI 10/10 here nothing to say, but it would be nice to see Eco’s face.
Final vote 8.5/10 needless to say I REALLY liked it especially now that it is renewed, I just hate the fact that I’m going to need to wait a year or more for build 5 but it’ll be worth like always. (Am I the only one who wants a threeway between Eco, Kai and Vulterus)
The sprite's art are all sketches. They will be rendered and finished in future updates. You are not meant to see eco's full face, but you see half of it in build 4. And you won't be waiting a year for build 5, that much i assure you, considering I have done 3 builds in 6 months.

I just finished the whole story for this build. Honestly, I love them so much, even though it's given me roller coaster emotions 😭. Quick question about the star sickness: Is it the metaphor of schizophrenia? And thanks to the author and creator who provide the most interesting VN to us, Reconnect is one of the top three best VN, at least from my list. Still, I wish I could see or expect to see our MC and Kai have a kissing scene/CG in this build. But who knows? Maybe for the next update, there will be a kissing scene right? 🥺 Pretty please? I highly recommend playing this game and supporting the creator, cuz damn. Genuinely, this is one of the best VNs I've had the pleasure of playing. I've played and followed many that quickly dropped in quality or were totally abandoned. Reconnected is great quality, has great characters, and the creator is an amazing.

So far the Visual Novel is good, Read through all the way to the current ending, although I have not checked all the dialogue options.

A Really funny section of Nightmare 2 and the following Retelling of it to Kai is that [MC} Just doesn't mention the fact that Nightmare-Kai said that he was going to "Fuck his dead body", [MC] Can't contain his gay lil' thoughts even in Nightmares, 'cause honestly, that'd probably be very vivid in his memory considering how fuckin' Gay this goober is, of course it was happening during a very intense scene so I don't blame the guy,
Also Nightmare 3 / Ceiling Body was very uncalled for and a huge tone-shift from the VoreTec scene we had like 5 Minutes prior to it, Personally the shift was way too fast and got rid of any lingering good feelings from the scene.
The title image made me think this game was gonna turn out to be a "Pick a side" type deal where you had to pick either Kai or Vulp Man (forgot his name since he isn't that memorable quite yet),
The Dialogue options don't seem to have that many story branching effects this early on but they might be considerable variables later on, I'm not sure but considering how they're basically never brought up again I don't think they'll have that much story impact?
And I might just be dumb but I haven't found a single clue yet to the mystery outside of what the game and dialogue has explicitedly shown you.

Wow, although I had a premonition during my previous visit that Vulp might have some kind of connection with Eco (after all, Acaia said he's not that bad), this update still took me by surprise. When I first saw the main interface's CG, I spent some time observing it. At first, I thought the black wolf was Eco, but then I remembered that in the previous description, Eco was much shorter than Kai. I immediately realized that this should be Vulp, but I was quite confused as to why they were in a back-to-back position, considering that the two of them were extremely incompatible in the storyline. But after playing through it, combined with Kezza's words, I think this CG should be Kezza's summary of the murder case. Moreover, Vulp's illustration is quite... attractive to me. I have to admit that my current liking for Vulp is higher than for Kai. Haha. I'm really looking forward to seeing the subsequent plot. This update exceeded my expectations.
Vulterus and Kai might be in the same circumstances. Meaning Kai fled his home as to avoid curtain death and Vultrus needed to leave for some reason as well.
I'm quite sure that his uncle doesn't know that he's where he is OR he knows but Vulterus is medling in the affairs in such a way that he would greatly dissaprove.
If what Kezza says is all true then Vulterus is trying to stop the war from happening but this is still at odds with the motivation of our killer, unless they are a supernatural entity.
Vulps wouldn't send a killer simply to destabilize this kind of program, that doesn't make sense, as soon as you uncover killer's identity and you learn they are on Vulp's orders the entire program succeed by default, and everyone will stand against their attempted genocide on a galactic scale
Oh, sorry, I got Vulterus and Vulp mixed up as two different words. (I'm not a native English speaker, sorry.) I hadn't really thought about the matter between Vulterus and his emperor uncle before. Your point is indeed very reasonable, and I completely agree.
I recommend that you should read through build 3.1 until the "7 days left" day to understand this and for context ( most these paragraphs are from the help of google and other search engines)

This update is giving a headache of who is the mastermind behind it but in this same update I have a theory of what the future may hold and who it might be considering what is said in the beginning of the 7 days left prompt of us.
Since they said the one who talked in the dream,in which there are Valor, Courage, Compassion, and Innocence. That 2 had fallen and 2 remain and considering the colors of the text might have been hinting who we are talking to from the previous nights.
All 4 of them are traits of humans and all for of them are considered as "Virtues" but in this novel manipulation is of the big part of this murder mystery. One big example stated in the novel is putting all of the advocates against one another as the presumed motive of the killer is disharmony and chaos of the advocates of different planets and putting this into perspective, there are some ways of these "Virtues" can be used or attain this goal
1.Valor/Courage- These traits are synonymous to each other due to their concepts overlapping but the main difference between them are Valor is more specific in being the "Hero of the story" or similar tropes and Courage being confronting fears in any context. In which both of these can be used to manipulate people on being
Misguided Actions
When valor and courage are misdirected or manipulated, individuals can be persuaded to engage in harmful actions under the mistaken belief that their actions are justified or serve a greater cause. In these instances, genuine bravery is present, but it is detached from ethical considerations. The outcome is the application of inner strength towards destructive or negative outcomes (these are from google)
Compassion- This trait is defined as the deep awareness of and sympathy for another person's suffering or misfortune, coupled with a genuine desire and motivation to take action to alleviate or end that suffering. Even though this trait is helping others it can also be used to manipulate people one example of this is
Exploitation of Trust
Compassionate people, being naturally trusting and helpful, can be easily taken advantage of by individuals who feign need or distress for personal gain.
Innocence - refers to a state of being free from moral wrongdoing, guilt, or sin. It implies purity of heart and mind, and an unfamiliarity with the negative, complex, or darker aspects of human nature and the world. And one big example of manipulation can be used in this is
Emotional Blackmail and Guilt
A manipulator can leverage the innocent person's purity of intent against them. They might imply that questioning the manipulator is "unkind" or "wrong," making the innocent person feel guilty for having any doubts. This prevents them from trusting their own instincts.
The examples I given to each trait are some ways the characters in the game can/might use for the disharmony of the advocates and mostly I've observed of the characters like Valor and Courage maybe manipulating the MC and Kai(due to one quote that something is saying the Vul is the killer) to some extent. Or Arcadia and her brother using Compassion and Innocence(This one is a stretch).
And what the voice (in which I suspect to be Innocence) said that 2 Have fallen and 2 Remain might have been a lie since there have been colored text with the same color as the other traits due to mainly the nightmare of the other night and what Kai's word of him suspecting who the killer he think is. And thinking someone is innocent is not the same as them being trustworthy.
That's all I could think of since the story haven't finished yet and I'm sorry if this post is kind of a mess it's literally 3 am me writing this so forgive me.
Ok so i still think Vul is a Prick but those Puppy Eyes was 😫. anyways, will there be a Gallery option for scenes in the future? it would be neat to see em when wanted to ngl
I made two public poll about moving those scenes to build 4 in order to get build 3 out on time, as including those scenes would require 40K more words of writing, and build 3 was already 100K words long. The community voted to ship build 3 without them, and then have me make a smaller build 4 that releases in a few months with those scenes included. A bit of an oversight for me to not upload the results of that poll to patreon.
Tried reading as fast as I could but let me start with this. Great update i fucking love that glossary and the notepad is an amazing function i didn't know I needed. The new music in the begining was sorrely missed and some new tracks were pretty spot on in terms of atmosphere.
That being said I simply cannot wait for the new updates to this. The new cgs are WOW. Vulterus looks fucking cool. Some new sprites were a pleasant surprise (Kai's sad puppy stare is adorable in the saddest way possible ;-;). Cannot praise the work that has been put here enough <3

Let me be slightly not sane about everything that has happened
The ending to this update is giving me the creeps in the best way but I trust every fiber of my being that this shithead is simply getting a kick out of being a big scary dog. He wins nothing by killing the protag. Some unkown 3rd part might be at play here unless I'm missing something. Rulling out some sort of demon but it is yet to be decided whether that will be the case (since we can't talk to that dumb dog in the corner).
Doesn't seem like Zenalyrians themselves would stage all of this it doesn't win them anything as well. If what Kezza said is to be true, but him lying makes us dead in in that alley.
If it happens that the killer is not using any kind of device to not appear on the camera footage there is a mole and it's most likely a Zenalyrian (Acadia???). Which is highely likely in my mind.
The 4 virtues of Aetherion are clearly linked to the murders but I'm not yet sure how. Dunno who's which virtue which also seems pretty important. Speaking of Aethetion that bitch better not show up their ugly mug at the most conviniet moment possible ala divine intervention.
Their sword is enough of a Chekhov's gun. I cannot wait for someone to pick it up to threaten one of our cute little gays just for it to backfire since they are *unworthy*, whatever that might mean Kai.
I think this is all for my rambling about this plot. It's very juicy if I do say so myself
I believe there is a fan translation out there somewhere from an independent team that contacted me a while back? Not sure how I'd get in contact with them though
It's kind of amazing how some choices made, writing wise, are somewhat puzzling, but the mystery of it is oh so tantalizing.

I think it's a good start but the break neck pace has to slow the fuck down. In a span of a couple of days we make a friend from a guy whom we should not trust at a glance even tho he's very friendly. Sure, narratively it doesn't make sense one bit for him to be the killer but to so easily trust is foolish at least and dengarous at worst.
My main problem, however is with the worldbuilding and it's consequences.The concept of fruit and vegtables is not lost over a couple of thousand of year and a voyage to a new galaxy? and then the f-slur during the halluciantion, that might not be hallucinations at all. It's a nit pick but it really undermines the believability of it all, in my eyes.
All that being said I honestly wish to see the end to this and hope for the best in the future updates!

Eco's full face is intentionally not shown, and intentionally will never be fully shown until the end.

of course it was happening during a very intense scene so I don't blame the guy,
Also Nightmare 3 / Ceiling Body was very uncalled for and a huge tone-shift from the VoreTec scene we had like 5 Minutes prior to it, Personally the shift was way too fast and got rid of any lingering good feelings from the scene.
The title image made me think this game was gonna turn out to be a "Pick a side" type deal where you had to pick either Kai or Vulp Man (forgot his name since he isn't that memorable quite yet),
The Dialogue options don't seem to have that many story branching effects this early on but they might be considerable variables later on, I'm not sure but considering how they're basically never brought up again I don't think they'll have that much story impact?
And I might just be dumb but I haven't found a single clue yet to the mystery outside of what the game and dialogue has explicitedly shown you.

Wow, although I had a premonition during my previous visit that Vulp might have some kind of connection with Eco (after all, Acaia said he's not that bad), this update still took me by surprise. When I first saw the main interface's CG, I spent some time observing it. At first, I thought the black wolf was Eco, but then I remembered that in the previous description, Eco was much shorter than Kai. I immediately realized that this should be Vulp, but I was quite confused as to why they were in a back-to-back position, considering that the two of them were extremely incompatible in the storyline. But after playing through it, combined with Kezza's words, I think this CG should be Kezza's summary of the murder case. Moreover, Vulp's illustration is quite... attractive to me. I have to admit that my current liking for Vulp is higher than for Kai. Haha. I'm really looking forward to seeing the subsequent plot. This update exceeded my expectations.
Vulterus and Kai might be in the same circumstances. Meaning Kai fled his home as to avoid curtain death and Vultrus needed to leave for some reason as well.
I'm quite sure that his uncle doesn't know that he's where he is OR he knows but Vulterus is medling in the affairs in such a way that he would greatly dissaprove.
If what Kezza says is all true then Vulterus is trying to stop the war from happening but this is still at odds with the motivation of our killer, unless they are a supernatural entity.
Vulps wouldn't send a killer simply to destabilize this kind of program, that doesn't make sense, as soon as you uncover killer's identity and you learn they are on Vulp's orders the entire program succeed by default, and everyone will stand against their attempted genocide on a galactic scale

This update is giving a headache of who is the mastermind behind it but in this same update I have a theory of what the future may hold and who it might be considering what is said in the beginning of the 7 days left prompt of us.
Since they said the one who talked in the dream,in which there are Valor, Courage, Compassion, and Innocence. That 2 had fallen and 2 remain and considering the colors of the text might have been hinting who we are talking to from the previous nights.
All 4 of them are traits of humans and all for of them are considered as "Virtues" but in this novel manipulation is of the big part of this murder mystery. One big example stated in the novel is putting all of the advocates against one another as the presumed motive of the killer is disharmony and chaos of the advocates of different planets and putting this into perspective, there are some ways of these "Virtues" can be used or attain this goal
1.Valor/Courage- These traits are synonymous to each other due to their concepts overlapping but the main difference between them are Valor is more specific in being the "Hero of the story" or similar tropes and Courage being confronting fears in any context. In which both of these can be used to manipulate people on being
Misguided Actions
When valor and courage are misdirected or manipulated, individuals can be persuaded to engage in harmful actions under the mistaken belief that their actions are justified or serve a greater cause. In these instances, genuine bravery is present, but it is detached from ethical considerations. The outcome is the application of inner strength towards destructive or negative outcomes (these are from google)
Compassion- This trait is defined as the deep awareness of and sympathy for another person's suffering or misfortune, coupled with a genuine desire and motivation to take action to alleviate or end that suffering. Even though this trait is helping others it can also be used to manipulate people one example of this is

Compassionate people, being naturally trusting and helpful, can be easily taken advantage of by individuals who feign need or distress for personal gain.
Innocence - refers to a state of being free from moral wrongdoing, guilt, or sin. It implies purity of heart and mind, and an unfamiliarity with the negative, complex, or darker aspects of human nature and the world. And one big example of manipulation can be used in this is
Emotional Blackmail and Guilt
A manipulator can leverage the innocent person's purity of intent against them. They might imply that questioning the manipulator is "unkind" or "wrong," making the innocent person feel guilty for having any doubts. This prevents them from trusting their own instincts.
The examples I given to each trait are some ways the characters in the game can/might use for the disharmony of the advocates and mostly I've observed of the characters like Valor and Courage maybe manipulating the MC and Kai(due to one quote that something is saying the Vul is the killer) to some extent. Or Arcadia and her brother using Compassion and Innocence(This one is a stretch).
And what the voice (in which I suspect to be Innocence) said that 2 Have fallen and 2 Remain might have been a lie since there have been colored text with the same color as the other traits due to mainly the nightmare of the other night and what Kai's word of him suspecting who the killer he think is. And thinking someone is innocent is not the same as them being trustworthy.
That's all I could think of since the story haven't finished yet and I'm sorry if this post is kind of a mess it's literally 3 am me writing this so forgive me.

Sorry to ask, but I saw in patreon there where apparently CGs I've missed... Is there some requisite to trigger them or are they Patreon exclusive?
I made two public poll about moving those scenes to build 4 in order to get build 3 out on time, as including those scenes would require 40K more words of writing, and build 3 was already 100K words long. The community voted to ship build 3 without them, and then have me make a smaller build 4 that releases in a few months with those scenes included. A bit of an oversight for me to not upload the results of that poll to patreon.

Tried reading as fast as I could but let me start with this. Great update i fucking love that glossary and the notepad is an amazing function i didn't know I needed. The new music in the begining was sorrely missed and some new tracks were pretty spot on in terms of atmosphere.
That being said I simply cannot wait for the new updates to this. The new cgs are WOW. Vulterus looks fucking cool. Some new sprites were a pleasant surprise (Kai's sad puppy stare is adorable in the saddest way possible ;-;). Cannot praise the work that has been put here enough <3

Let me be slightly not sane about everything that has happened
The ending to this update is giving me the creeps in the best way but I trust every fiber of my being that this shithead is simply getting a kick out of being a big scary dog. He wins nothing by killing the protag. Some unkown 3rd part might be at play here unless I'm missing something. Rulling out some sort of demon but it is yet to be decided whether that will be the case (since we can't talk to that dumb dog in the corner).
Doesn't seem like Zenalyrians themselves would stage all of this it doesn't win them anything as well. If what Kezza said is to be true, but him lying makes us dead in in that alley.
If it happens that the killer is not using any kind of device to not appear on the camera footage there is a mole and it's most likely a Zenalyrian (Acadia???). Which is highely likely in my mind.
The 4 virtues of Aetherion are clearly linked to the murders but I'm not yet sure how. Dunno who's which virtue which also seems pretty important. Speaking of Aethetion that bitch better not show up their ugly mug at the most conviniet moment possible ala divine intervention.
Their sword is enough of a Chekhov's gun. I cannot wait for someone to pick it up to threaten one of our cute little gays just for it to backfire since they are *unworthy*, whatever that might mean Kai.

It's kind of amazing how some choices made, writing wise, are somewhat puzzling, but the mystery of it is oh so tantalizing.

I think it's a good start but the break neck pace has to slow the fuck down. In a span of a couple of days we make a friend from a guy whom we should not trust at a glance even tho he's very friendly. Sure, narratively it doesn't make sense one bit for him to be the killer but to so easily trust is foolish at least and dengarous at worst.
My main problem, however is with the worldbuilding and it's consequences.The concept of fruit and vegtables is not lost over a couple of thousand of year and a voyage to a new galaxy? and then the f-slur during the halluciantion, that might not be hallucinations at all. It's a nit pick but it really undermines the believability of it all, in my eyes.
All that being said I honestly wish to see the end to this and hope for the best in the future updates!
